I’ve always struggled to explain what it is I do in the office to my parents kids. I’m not sure whether that’s because I myself am not too sure (and there’s probably a lot that an analyst could do with that!), but invariably it comes out as either a non-job, or as if I’m the whole company. But then, I don’t work in HR 😉
