You can be a master fisherman without leaving your yard! Trying to wrap your squishy brain around this, are ya? Well, read further to unwrap it, so you don’t wind up walking around in circles, mumbling and babbling about yard fishing. Your parent’s will have to send you away to a school for the permanently brain wrapped, where brain wrapped kids walk around in circles all day. Not good.
As much fun as it would be seeing you shuffling in a perpetual circle, drooling and babbling about yard fishing, we decided to take the higher road and explain what yard fishing is. Remember, as a warning, if you find yourself trying to fit the idea into that small, squishy brain of yours and it goes all ‘’rejection mode’’ on you, you know as an idea that just isn’t comfy, something your brain just can’t file under ‘’oh, the sweet and normal things in life that make me feel all warm inside and right,’’ and your brain shuts down and you indeed begin to walk around in circles, don’t go blaming us! We tried to help! Just to let you know, we’ve got a great bunch of lawyers too. So, don’t even try to lawyer-up on us! Oh, that lovely bunch in dark suits, what would we do without them? Oops! There we go again and, went just a little too far, always going just a little too far.
Ok, forget the lawyer thing. Hey, we get excited about this stuff and want you to get excited too. So, let’s move forward, and hopefully there will be no need to worry about anyone going ‘’coo-coo’’ or the need for lawyers. If you’re a little confused about the idea of fishing in your yard you’re probably thinking, ‘’you know, the last time I checked there is no water in my yard, so……’’ You’re right, there is most likely no body of water in your back yard. Most people do not have rivers, lakes, streams, reservoirs, creeks, bays, seas, or oceans in their back yard. At best most back yards get flooded from time to time when it rains. But, for yard fishing, you see, here’s the kicker, you don’t need water. You just need the thinking part of your brain, some items that can be purchased for rather cheap, a brother or sister or maybe a friend or two or three and a yard to do the fishing in.
