We know that many kids sit in front of the computer or video game counsel today and play war games, like Call of Duty. The fact is only 20 or 30 years ago, kids did not have computers and played similar games with their friends outside and got exercise.
The Russians today have a game which goes on back to the days of the Czars. The game of Voinushka is still being played by kids all over Russia and other republics of the former Soviet Union. The word Voinushka simply means the little war or the war of the little ones. Though Americans had similar games which kids played 20 to 30 years ago, such as Capture the Flag or Tag, Voinushka is a little different. Voinushka was originally intended for the children from military and Cossack families to prepare their children for war. The great thing about Voinushka is that it can let your kid’s imagination go wild and the game will also give them the exercise they need.
