A character isn’t fully fleshed out by a writer. They may be the ones writing the character’s lines and background, but it’s the actors playing them who end up fully fleshing them out. Conversely, a well-written character may end up being less compelling if the actor playing them is bad at what they’re doing. These things don’t just apply to acting on stage or film. They also apply to voice acting.
