By dropping a Mentos in a bottle of Diet Coke, you can create a really tall “geyser.” This happens because the small holes in a mentos facilitate the rapid formation of carbon dioxide bubbles to cause an eruption. While making a “Diet Coke and Mentos eruption” is fun itself, why not take it a step further by using it as an engine for a toy car? Maybe even hold a race with cars powered by it? Just make sure you clean up after!
