The murky depths of a garden pond are a fantastic place to go exploring and to learn all about the different aquatic animals, bugs and plants that live in and around them. Your pond dipping activity can take place anywhere from a local stream, your garden pond (or that or that of a friend or neighbour – ask first!) to a local country park. You might find dragonflies, water spiders and water beetles as well as larger wildlife like newts or frogs.
