From the earliest cave paintings through to Michelangelo and now to Banksy, there’s always been a place for big art on big walls. Here’s how to do your own.
A mural is a drawing or painting which is normally done directly onto a wall (if your parents are feeling brave!) .Unless your mum and dad are very relaxed or lovers of art, it may be best to paint onto a large piece of board instead (or at least to begin with). This board can be hung on your chosen surface once the artwork is finished and dry. Your mural could be painted or hung on the wall of your house, the side of a garden shed, the inside of a garage, or even on a fence and will be admired for years to come!
