If you’re going to spend time in Denmark, you’ll most likely need the help of locals at some point. And should someone help you out, you should definitely thank them. Although Danes are generally pretty good at English, it wouldn’t hurt to thank them in their native language. Learning how to say thanks in Danish is easy. The same goes for “you’re welcome,” actually.
