Ever heard of the expression, ‘’A Pickin and a Grinnin?’’ Actually, we hope you haven’t, it’s kind of hokey. Hokey, well, is a nicer word for ‘’downright stupid.’’
But, there is nothing stupid about, ‘’A Pitchin and a Flippin.’’ OK, well, again, this is a hokey (downright stupid) way of describing something to do with bass fishing that is rather fun and takes quite a bit of skill. Maybe, we just like saying, ‘’A Pitchin and a Flippin?’’ Don’t know. But, what we do know is we like informing you about things that are different and interesting and you can actually try on your own right in your back lawn. Again, we’re talking about yard fishing. And, ‘’Pitching and Flipping,” does have something to do with it.
Before we move on though, we feel obligated to tell you what we mean by ‘’Pitching and Flipping.’’ As with our first article, we don’t want to confuse you too much with topics that could eventually cause you to drool and wander around in circles, you know, the whole, ‘’having to be sent to a school for the permanently confused, thing.” We’d, for the most part, like to avoid this, however funny you may look drooling and wandering around in circles, mumbling things about yard fishing.
So, ok, first of all, check out this site about ‘’Pitching and Flipping,’’ a bass fishing technique. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBT0eZZi5k0.
Get the idea? Wonder what we’re going to suggest next? I bet you’re thinking about it. However, before you do, we must refer back to your kit and yard fishing safety guidelines. Our lawyers have told us this is necessary. Again, we love those guys in dark suits, so we do whatever they tell us.
